Arizona Fall League 2026: Bowman Preview

Fifteen top-100 prospects head to the desert on October 3. Here's where their 1st Bowman autos sit before the first pitch, and the cheaper names on the same rosters.

Kevin McGonigle won MVP of the Arizona Fall League last November. Today he's the favorite for American League Rookie of the Year. His raw 1st Bowman auto sold for a median of $229 in December. By April it was $375.

That's the case for paying attention to six weeks of games in Arizona. The Fall League is a small sample in a hitter-friendly league, and plenty of big October lines mean nothing by spring. It's also the last live baseball before the offseason, so whatever happens there sets the tone for the winter market.

The 2026 season runs Saturday, Oct. 3 through Saturday, Nov. 14, with the championship at Peoria Stadium. The Fall Stars Game is Sunday, Nov. 8 at Salt River Fields.

Updated Oct. 1: Rosters changed after this piece first ran. Three Top 100 prospects were added to Surprise on Sept. 28: Sebastian Walcott, Aidan Miller and Angeibel Gomez. Scottsdale added Jett Williams. Brandon Clarke and Jay Allen II are no longer on the rosters. Every price below has been refreshed.

What last fall actually did to card prices

Three names from last year's league show the range of outcomes.

PlayerDec 2025PeakNow
Kevin McGonigle$229$375 (Apr)$265
Braden Montgomery$48$80 (Jun)$25
Alfredo Duno$70$89 (Jun)$63

Raw 1st Bowman Chrome auto, recent sale price.

McGonigle is the success story. An MVP fall, a strong spring, a debut on March 26, and a card that held most of its gains. Montgomery is the other version. His price climbed steadily into his June debut and has fallen by more than two thirds since. Duno barely moved in either direction.

The pattern worth noticing is when the money was made. Neither McGonigle nor Montgomery peaked in November. Both kept climbing through the winter and into the season, and both topped out around a debut. A strong fall starts the story. It rarely finishes it.

The ground rules for reading fall stats

Before the names, a few filters.

  • Hitters look better in Arizona. Dry air, fast parks and a lot of young pitchers working on specific pitches. A .900 OPS in the fall isn't the same as a .900 OPS in Double-A.
  • Pitcher dominance means more. Because the environment favors hitters, a pitcher who strikes out a batter an inning in the fall is doing something real.
  • Look past batting average. Velocity readings, exit velocity and strikeout-to-walk ratio say more about 60 plate appearances than the slash line does.
  • Some players are there to make up time. Several names this year missed chunks of the season. For them, staying healthy for six weeks is the result that matters.

The top 50: already priced like it

Six of this year's fifteen top-100 prospects rank inside the top 50. These are the cards with the most hobby attention already baked in, so a big fall is more likely to confirm the price than move it.

Sebastian Walcott, SS, Rangers (Surprise)

2024 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Sebastian Walcott

Walcott is the biggest of the late additions and now the highest-ranked player in the league at No. 9 overall. This is his second straight fall in Arizona. Last year's lasted one game before he left with arm fatigue, and the diagnosis turned out to be a torn elbow ligament that needed internal brace surgery. He returned in mid-July, mostly as a designated hitter, and hit .322 with 9 home runs, 11 stolen bases and a .984 OPS in 37 Double-A games.

His card has barely moved, from $89 a month ago to $92 now, on only 10 raw sales. It's the most expensive auto on any roster, which puts it in the same spot as the other top-50 names: a big fall is more likely to confirm the price than to move it. The thing to watch is how often he plays shortstop.

Like Hope below, Walcott's 1st Bowman card came without an autograph, so the card we track is his first Bowman auto, the 2024 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto.

Auto tracked: 2024 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto (first Bowman auto, not a 1st Bowman), raw $92 30-day trend: up roughly 3% on light volume

Eduardo Quintero, OF, Dodgers (Glendale)

2025 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Eduardo Quintero, 1st Bowman

Quintero had one of the best all-around lines in the minors at High-A: a .940 OPS, 12 home runs, 44 stolen bases and 88 walks against 102 strikeouts. The Dodgers bumped him to Double-A at the very end of the season, which is exactly the kind of move that makes a fall assignment interesting.

His card has slipped a little, from $76 a month ago to $70 now. Even so, the walk rate and speed make him one of the safer bets in the league to hold his value, and one of the less likely to be a bargain.

1st Bowman Auto: 2025 Bowman, raw $70 30-day trend: down roughly 8%

Zyhir Hope, OF, Tigers (Scottsdale)

2025 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Zyhir Hope

Hope was the headline name the Tigers got back when they sent Tarik Skubal to the Dodgers on August 1. He answered with 29 home runs and 26 stolen bases in 124 Double-A games, an .880 OPS, a 15-game hitting streak to close the regular season, and a new organization to build a hobby story around.

The market has followed the production. His card has climbed from $39 a month ago to $49, a rise of roughly 26% and one of the sharpest in this group, though it has cooled from the low $50s over the last two weeks. If the power carries into Arizona, a player who changed teams in a deadline blockbuster could keep finding new buyers.

Hope is one of two names here without a 1st Bowman auto, along with Walcott. His 1st Bowman was 2024 Bowman Draft, which came base only, so the card we track is his first Bowman autograph, the 2025 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto.

Auto tracked: 2025 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto (first Bowman auto, not a 1st Bowman), raw $49 30-day trend: up roughly 26%

Caleb Bonemer, 3B/SS/OF, White Sox (Glendale)

2024 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Caleb Bonemer, 1st Bowman

Bonemer split the year between High-A and Double-A and hit for power at both stops: 37 home runs combined, with a .924 OPS in Double-A. The strikeouts are real (161 across the two levels), and the fall will be one more look at whether the contact holds up against better pitching.

His price has moved almost exactly like Quintero's, from $78 a month ago to $72 now.

1st Bowman Auto: 2024 Bowman Draft, raw $72 30-day trend: down roughly 8%

Arjun Nimmala, SS, Angels (Mesa)

2024 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Arjun Nimmala, 1st Bowman

Nimmala posted an .880 OPS with 12 home runs in 60 Double-A games after a solid start at High-A. He finished hot, with four home runs in his last five regular-season games and another in his first career playoff game. He's a shortstop with power who spent most of the year at the level where prospects start to separate.

His card has firmed up, from $46 to $59, on fairly thin volume. Only 11 raw sales in the last month means a strong fall could move the price faster than it would for a busier card.

1st Bowman Auto: 2024 Bowman, raw $59 30-day trend: up roughly 28%

Bryce Rainer, SS, Tigers (Scottsdale)

2024 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Bryce Rainer, 1st Bowman

Rainer is the most interesting price move in this tier. He hit 18 home runs with an .863 OPS at High-A, which is a good season, but he also struck out 151 times in 95 games. The market has noticed. His price dropped from $90 to $61 over the last month, about 32%, the steepest fall in the top 50.

That makes the fall a clean test. Contact is the only thing that matters here. If the strikeout rate comes down against Arizona pitching, the recent dip looks like an opportunity. If it doesn't, the dip has a reason.

1st Bowman Auto: 2024 Bowman Draft, raw $61 30-day trend: down roughly 32%

Ranked 51 to 100: more room to move

These nine carry less hobby attention and, in most cases, cheaper cards. A strong six weeks here is more likely to show up in the price.

Angeibel Gomez, OF, Royals (Surprise)

2026 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Angeibel Gomez, 1st Bowman

Gomez is the most unusual name in the league. The Royals signed him for $2.9 million in January, and at 17 he is the second-youngest player ever to play in the Fall League. In 47 Dominican Summer League games he hit .361 with 9 home runs, 15 stolen bases and a 1.120 OPS, with more walks (28) than strikeouts (19).

His card is brand new. The 2026 Bowman Chrome 1st auto started selling in mid-September at around $225 and has fallen steadily since, to $89 now, across more than 100 raw sales in the last month. The Fall League news on Sept. 28 didn't reverse the slide. That makes him the cleanest test in this piece of whether six weeks in Arizona can move a card that's still finding its level. Against pitchers years older than him, simply holding his own would be a strong result.

1st Bowman Auto: 2026 Bowman Chrome, raw $89 Since release: down roughly 60% from its first week

Charles Davalan, OF/INF, Dodgers (Glendale)

2025 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Charles Davalan, 1st Bowman

Davalan has given a little back, from $42 to $39 over the last month, one of the smaller moves on this list. The season still reads well: a .937 OPS at High-A with 24 home runs, 17 stolen bases and more walks (63) than strikeouts (57), plus a late promotion to Double-A.

The walk-to-strikeout ratio is the part that travels well. Plenty of hitters post big numbers at High-A. Very few do it while controlling the zone like that.

1st Bowman Auto: 2025 Bowman Draft, raw $39 30-day trend: down roughly 7%

Nathan Flewelling, C, Rays (Scottsdale)

2024 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Nathan Flewelling, 1st Bowman

Flewelling has the cheapest card among the top-100 names at $29, and it has kept slipping. His price was $33 a month ago. That's a 12% drop for a catcher who hit 21 home runs with 71 walks at High-A and won MVP of the Futures Game in July after homering in Philadelphia.

Catchers are hard to value in the hobby because their path to the majors is slow and their bats get judged against a lower bar. The price reflects that. His 132 strikeouts are the other half of the story, and the fall will add another sample on both.

1st Bowman Auto: 2024 Bowman Draft, raw $29 30-day trend: down roughly 12%

Tate Southisene, SS, Braves (Glendale)

2025 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Tate Southisene, 1st Bowman

Southisene stole 36 bases with a .929 OPS in 51 games at Low-A before a tougher stretch at High-A. He hasn't played since going on the injured list at the end of July, so the Fall League is about healthy at-bats first and the stat line second.

His card sits at $38, down from $44 a month ago, with plenty of sales volume. Hobby buzz on him is high for a player outside the top 50.

1st Bowman Auto: 2025 Bowman Draft, raw $38 30-day trend: down roughly 14%

Aidan Miller, SS/3B, Phillies (Surprise)

2024 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Aidan Miller, 1st Bowman

Miller was set to play in the Fall League last year before an injury pulled him out. A back issue then cost him almost all of 2026: four regular-season games and four more in the playoffs. The last full look at him was 2025, when he hit 13 home runs with 52 stolen bases and an .810 OPS in 108 Double-A games. He's expected to play mostly third base in Arizona.

His card has slid with the lost season, from $80 a month ago to $59 now, about 26%, on 18 raw sales. Like Southisene, the first thing the market needs to see is six healthy weeks.

1st Bowman Auto: 2024 Bowman, raw $59 30-day trend: down roughly 26%

Jarlin Susana, RHP, Nationals (Salt River)

2022 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Jarlin Susana, 1st Bowman

Susana is the only pitcher among the fifteen top-100 names, and he's barely pitched this year. Surgery on his right lat last September kept him on the injured list for most of 2026. Since returning he's touched 103 mph on a rehab assignment, struck out 21 with 4 walks in 11 1/3 Double-A innings, and just earned a promotion to Triple-A.

His card is the thinnest market here, with only two raw sales in the last month and a price that has sat at $48. Given how few innings he's thrown, a healthy fall is the whole story. Because the league favors hitters, strikeouts from Susana would carry more weight than any hitter's line.

1st Bowman Auto: 2022 Bowman Chrome, raw $48 30-day trend: flat on very few sales

Demetrio Crisantes, 2B, D-backs (Salt River)

2023 Bowman Chrome Prospect Auto Demetrio Crisantes, 1st Bowman

Crisantes had one of the bigger drops on this list, from $37 to $31 over the last month. The season was good. He hit .319 with a .961 OPS at Double-A, then cooled to a .739 OPS after a promotion to Triple-A.

Only eight raw sales in the last month means that drop rests on a small number of transactions. A thin market cuts both ways. It can fall quickly, and it can recover quickly too.

1st Bowman Auto: 2023 Bowman Chrome, raw $31 30-day trend: down roughly 16% on light volume

Dax Kilby, SS, Yankees (Salt River)

2025 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Dax Kilby, 1st Bowman

A right hamstring strain limited Kilby to a little over 30 regular-season games at Low-A, but he made them count: a .448 on-base percentage, 39 walks against 31 strikeouts, and 12 stolen bases. He returned in time for the Florida State League playoffs, and the fall is a chance to add the at-bats he lost during the season.

His card is the second most expensive in this tier at $74, behind only Gomez, and down from $83 a month ago. Yankees prospects often carry a premium, which may help explain why his price sits above names with fuller seasons.

1st Bowman Auto: 2025 Bowman Draft, raw $74 30-day trend: down roughly 11%

Ike Irish, OF/1B, Orioles (Peoria)

2025 Bowman Draft Chrome Prospect Auto Ike Irish, 1st Bowman

Irish is the last name in the top 100 and the only one on the Peoria roster. He hit 16 home runs with 20 stolen bases and a .916 OPS at High-A, and like Southisene he hasn't played since July after landing on the injured list.

His card sits at $30, down from $31.

1st Bowman Auto: 2025 Bowman Draft, raw $30 30-day trend: roughly flat

Deeper names with cheap cards

Glendale has four of the fifteen top-100 names, and Surprise went from none to three with the late additions. Peoria still has only Irish. Here are the cheaper names worth noting across all six rosters.

Miguel Mendez, RHPGiants (Scottsdale)2026 Bowman Chrome$453 K in 45 1/3 IP (AA)

A few stand out for different reasons.

Wyatt Sanford is a 2026 Bowman 1st with a .974 OPS and 33 stolen bases, and his card is still around $20 with a lot of recent sales. Eric Bitonti has kept moving, from $23 a month ago to $32 after a 25-homer, 24-steal season, though on only four sales in the last month. Tai Peete has also climbed, from $26 to $34. Sammy Hernandez is a catcher with power and speed whose card trades for about five dollars.

Jett Williams is the other late addition. He started the year on the Top 100, then dealt with quad and wrist injuries and took a step back at the plate in his first season with the Brewers after coming over in the Freddy Peralta trade. The speed is still there, and his 2022 Bowman Draft auto sits at $23, down from $28 a month ago.

On the pitching side, Miguel Mendez is a 2026 Bowman Chrome 1st with 53 strikeouts in 45 innings at Double-A, and his card trades for about four dollars. Strikeouts are the one fall stat that carries real weight, which makes the pitchers a sensible place to look for surprises.

What's worth reacting to

Six weeks is short, and most of what happens will be noise. A few things are worth paying attention to.

  • Contact changes from high-strikeout hitters, Rainer and Flewelling especially.
  • Velocity and strikeout numbers from pitchers, since the environment works against them.
  • Health. For Walcott, Miller, Susana, Kilby, Southisene and Irish, simply playing every week answers the biggest question.
  • Gomez against older competition. A 17-year-old who holds his own in this league would be a rare data point for a card that is still finding its price.
  • Promotion signals. Quintero and Davalan both reached Double-A at the end of the season. A strong fall usually means an aggressive assignment next spring.

What's less worth reacting to is a hot first two weeks from a hitter. The history above says the bigger moves come in the winter and around debuts, not in October.
